resiliency training

The American Psychological Association defines resiliency as the ability to adapt well in the face of adversity, trauma, tragedy, threats, or significant sources of stress such as family and relationship problems, serious health issues, or workplace and financial stressors. Resilience means effectively "bouncing back".
Emergency responders and veterans face horrific situations, deal with incredibly dangerous people, and carry the heavy weight of being the first line of defense for society....producing emotions within that are almost insurmountable. The demanding nature of their work, combined with exposure to traumatic events, can lead to long-lasting psychological effects that darken their daily lives.
"Do not gloat over me, my enemy; when I fall, I will arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord will be a light to me"
Micah 7:8, NKJV
